How to Apply

Follow these simple steps to prepare, position, and apply your wall decal smoothly

1. Prepare - Decal

Unroll the decal and lay it flat. Weigh down the corners with heavy objects to help the board relax and stretch, making the application easier.

2. Clean - Test - Surface

Use a dry or damp cloth to clean the area where the board will be applied, ensuring the surface is completely dry and free from dirt or debris. Try 12x12cm sample sheetto be sure if surface is compatible.

3. Apply - Decal

Begin at the bottom right corner. Peel off the protective film, press the corner onto the surface, and slowly pull the film awaywhile applying the decal upwards. Use your other hand to smooth it out as you go.

4. Ensure Adhesion

Press To Stick system works by pressing harder to secure decal. For easier removal later, avoid pressing too firmly if you plan to relocate the board. To remove bubbles, use a flat item likehardcover book to smooth them. Minimize bubbles for best adhesion.

5. Care & Attention

Clean with a damp, soft microfiber cloth.It's not recommended to leave writing on the surface for a long time,it make cleaning difficult.

6. Remove - Decal

To remove*, peel the decal slowly at a 45° angle. For easier removal, use a hairdryer to warm the edges while you peel slowly.If there’s residue left behind, wipe it off with a warm, damp cloth. Cover wall decal with protective film.


*Minimize removing and reapplying as it weakens the adhesive.

Surface Compatibility

  • Wall decals can be applied to walls, glass, mirrors, doors, and furniture.
  • Adhesion may vary depending on the surface.
  • Use the included 12×12 cm sample to test before applying the full design.
  • Not recommended for wallpaper, textured, freshly painted, or poorly painted walls.
  • Colors may appear slightly different due to lighting.

Will the wall decals damage my walls or leave any marks when removed?

Every wall is a little different, so while we can’t promise a completely mark-free removal in every case, most customers remove our decals without any damage.For best results, we recommend using gentle heat from a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive - it helps make removal smoother and reduces the risk of peeling or marks.

Will other brand magnetic playsets work on the Tix&Mix magnetic wall decal?

In most cases, yes - but keep in mind our decals are designed for Tix&Mix playsets.Other brands may use weaker and thinner magnets that might not stick as well, so if something doesn’t hold, it’s likely the playset, not the wall decal.

When is it safe to apply a magnetic wall decal after painting a wall?

For best results, wait 30 days after painting before applying your magnetic wall decal.
